A Bradford man is facing attempted murder charges after an incident at his workplace.

South Simcoe Police were called to the factory at the 10th Sideroad and 8th Line for a report of a possible industrial accident this past Wednesday (jul 4).

When police arrived they found a woman being treated by paramedics.

She was later transferred to a Toronto trauma centre in critical condition.

Investigators says the woman was attacked by another employee who then fled the building.

A suspect was arrested without incident early Thursday (jul 5) morning during a traffic stop.

The 27 year old man is facing charges including attempted murder and assault with a weapon.

South Simcoe Police say the motive for the attack is unknown.
