Leonard's Beach is under a swimming advisory from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit due the water containing higher levels of bacteria
This is not a beach closure.

A&W BURGERS TO BEAT MS DAY

Today (aug 16) is A&W Burgers to Beat MS Day.
$2 from every Teen Burger sold will go to the MS Society of Canada.
This is the 10th year for the event.
The iniative has raised almost $12 million over the last decade.

An Alliston teen facing car theft charges
South Simcoe Police were called to the 5th Line, between Yonge Street and the 10th Sideroad, in Innisfil for a single vehicle accident.
It turns out the car was stolen.

Canadian Blood Services is back in Innisfil Thursday (aug 16)
A blood donor clinic will be held at the YMCA on Yonge St.
Hours are 4:30pm-7:30 pm.
All blood types are needed, especially during the summer months when stocks are depleted.

A car/motorcycle accident in Alliston sends a rider to hospital.
Nottawasaga OPP say a passenger vehicle came out of the Zehrs parking onto King Street and into the path of the bike.
