Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement.
The weather office says we might see snow amounts of 5-10 cm by Friday.
On Friday the snow may turn to rain.
They say we may see rainfall totals of 25 to 40 mm.

WILSON PRIVATE MEMBER'S BILL TO SUPPORT SMH

The MPP for Simcoe-Grey is going to bat for Stevenson Memorial Hospital again.
On May 18 Jim Wilson says he will introduce a private member's bill at Queen's Park asking for approval of a planning grant for the redevelopment of Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston.

PROVINCIAL CASH FOR ANGUS COMMUNITY CENTRE IMPROVEMENTS

Essa Township is getting some Trillium Foundation cash.
The $101,200 comes out of the Ontario 150 Community Capital Program Grant
This money will be used to help with the replacement and restoration of the roof at the Angus Community Centre .

The hunt for a suspect in a stabbing is on in Bradford.
South Simcoe Police say a 26 year old man was sent to hospital after he was stabbed outside a restaurant in the area of Holland Street West and Simcoe Road in Bradford.

An officer with Nottawasaga OPP was on patrol late Sunday (mar 26) night in Alliston when they came across slower moving drive-thru customer.
