Janice Greco is the Manager of Injury and Substance Misuse Prevention Program with the Health Unit.

Bootleg fentanyl is being brought in from China and mixed with street drugs and she say it has deadly consequences

Greco says it's very difficult to know what is in street drugs, so she recommends that users carry a naloxone kit in the event of an opioid overdose.

She has said that kit providers are tracking those who request them.

Greco adds a Rapid Access Addiction Clinic is slated to open at the end of the month in Alliston as well as more needle exchange program locations and naloxone distribution sites.
