The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority say the flood potential is low.

Despite the rain and warm weather we have been experiencing no major flooding is anticipated.

However, the NVCA says melting snow and runoff may result in an increases in stream flows.

Residents are being reminded to be careful near river banks and the shores of all bodies of water.

They say unstable ice cover, slippery banks and fast flowing watercourses can result in dangerous conditions.
