BWG MAN FACES GUN CHARGES

A Bradford West Gwillimbury man is facing a laundry list of charges.


OPP say the man was seen behind a gas station in Midhurst with a firearm Tuesday morning (aug 7).


The guy ditched the gun and took off on his bicycle after being confronted by an employee.


The gun was found in the bush and the suspect was found in a backyard.


Huronia West OPP got assistance from the OPP Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, helicopter and from the Barrie Police Service.


The 36 year old Bradford West Gwillimbury man is facing 21 charges including having a restricted weapon and break and enter.


He was held for a bail hearing in Barrie.
