Thursday (apr 12) is Humboldt Broncos Jersey Day.

The day is in support of families affected by the tragic bus accident that killed 16 players, coaches and support staff

Simcoe County schools in both the public and Catholic school boards will be taking part.

Some just to show solidarity with the people of Humboldt, Saskatchewan and the families impacted by the tragedy.

Others will use the day to raise funds for the hockey community in Humboldt.

All school flags have been at half staff this week

Area businesses will also take part and Stevenson Memorial Hospital is getting in on the act.

Hospital staff are encouraged to wear green and gold, the Broncos team colours, on Thursday and the hospital flag will be at half mast.
