Authorities say deaths in three of the Big Four categories were up over the previous year on Ontario roads


Those include speeding , followed by inattentive or distracted drivers, and seatbelt infractions.

Of the people who died on our roads in 2017, 48 were riding motorcycles and 91 died in collisions involving transports.


Snowmobile fatalities reached an all time with 29 deaths while boating fatalities reached an 8 year high 31 people killed


22 people died in off-road vehicle collisions last year but fewer pedestrian were killed last year with 27 deaths, compared to 39 in 2016.
