A call to a domestics dispute ends with the police being assaulted

South Simcoe Police say they were called to a home in Bradford about a man and woman arguing loudly.

Police say two officers entered the apartment and were assaulted by the woman.

When she was taken to the police station, the cops say she damaged a cruiser door and attacked a third officer.

As for the man, police says he gave them a false name and when positively identified was arrested for a bail violation.

They say he also damaged a door in the police cell area.

And if that wasn't enough police say they found pot in the apartment.

A 27 year old Bradford woman and 29 year man from Markham are facing a long list of charges.

None of the officers involved required medical attention.
