SIMCOE COUNTY FOREST GROWS IN BWG

Simcoe County Forests is celebrating the official opening of the 104-acre Kirkup Woods Tract in Bradford West Gwillimbury.


The event goes Wednesday (sep 13) at 3pm at 2175 Line 13 of Bradford West Gwillimbury, between Yonge Street and 20th Sideroad.


In a release, the County describes Kirkup Woods as a "...ecologically diverse with important stream corridors and associated valleylands, along with mature and diverse woodlands."


Simcoe County has 32,700 acres of municipally-owned forest.
